How it works
Before registration, write a different classmate’s name at the top of each printable note. Check that every name is used exactly once, so nobody is left out.
Hand out the named notes, one to each student. Each student writes something true and kind about the person named on their note. Ask them not to sign it, so the note stays anonymous.
Gather the finished notes before the end of registration, then hand each student their own note the next morning.

This one needs a few minutes of setup, because every note has to have a name on it before you hand it out. It works as a one-off or a termly ritual, and it’s worth keeping a couple of spare notes for anyone away.
