How it works
The Form Time Quiz · Year 7 to 9 · Question 5
“Eating carrots lets you see in the dark.”
Teams decide whether it is fact or myth. The answer is on the slides, along with the story of where it came from.
Students work in teams of three or four, with one printed answer sheet shared between each team.
There are ten questions: six on the key stage’s theme, then four on general knowledge. Read each question out as it goes up, and give teams time to agree on an answer before they write it down.
Teams swap sheets with the team next to them. The answers go up one at a time, each with a line on why (and in Volume Two, the study it comes from), so give the room a moment on each one.
The last two slides are blank for questions of your own, and every answer sheet has two spare rows for them.
