How it works
The first of five questions
“One word for how today feels so far.”
The other four are in the slides, one to a morning.
One slide on the board before the students come in. Answer it yourself first, in a few words, so that nobody has to go first.
Instead of saying “here”, each student answers the question in a word or two. Say on the first morning that “here” is always a fine answer, so that nobody is put on the spot.
If an answer is worth coming back to, come back to it at the end, once the register is in.
Get the activity
Nothing to print. Five questions are in the slides, one to a morning, and five more are on the teacher guide. After those, the last slide asks students to bring you one of their own. Make sure you come back for Volume Two. Follow @thepastoralguide to hear when it lands.
